I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Kentucky. Before arriving in Kentucky, I did my graduate work in philosophy at MIT. Previous to that, I studied philosophy as an undergraduate at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.
My interests include the philosophy of mind, metaphysics and the history of philosophy. My current research is in the philosophy of perception and focuses on olfactory experience. You can read more about my research here.
When I am not contemplating our nostrils, I am either playing hockey or watching others play it.
