Requirements:

WIN95 or Windows NT

32-bit Sybase Open Client version 10.0.3 or above

Features:
    • Edit files up to 30K with viewing of very large files under Windows NT

Version 1.x Caveats and known problems:
    • Single threaded execution gives fast, reliable operation but may cause delays in repainting the screen during long queries.
    • Filling the log window (30K) results in an incomplete logging of messages and activity. This is not related to the Sybase transaction log.
    • An application crash may result during a login attempt if the network is not available.

Version 1.1 fixes:
    • Fixes the problem where "zero-length" result files cause the SQL file to be deleted or an error message to appear if the SQL file hasn't been saved yet.
    • Fixes an "out of stack space" error that sometimes occurred.

Version 1.5 fixes:
    • Fixes handling of return parameters from stored procedures.
    • Fixes handling of status codes from stored procedures.
    • Linked with version 10.0.4 of Open Client.

Version 1.6 fix:
    • Allows password to be blank for logging into unprotected accounts.

Installation:
    • Simply download the zipped file to a directory on your hard disk. Then use PkUnzip to unzip the file. Delete the distribution file. Create an icon and/or group in an appropriate place within Windows. Double click on the icon and enjoy!
