Being the first in your family can be overwhelming, but UK provides resources to support you through this process. At UK, nearly 1 in 5 incoming freshman and 1 in 3 transfer students are first generation college students. So, you are not alone in your journey.

Successful students at UK take advantage of campus resources. Tutoring, peer mentoring, student organizations, your faculty and academic advisors are your best resources to ensure you become a college graduate. To ensure your success, take advantage of the following:
