Yoga and Your Brain: Come practice proven techniques for how to improve concentration, reduce anxiety, and utilize relaxation to manage the stress associated with studying for final exams. In this workshop, you will learn yoga-based relaxation techniques to reduce the stress that tends to increase at the end of a semester and techniques to help sharpen your concentration. You will also learn about the basic neurocognitive processes that are affected by these techniques. Please note that the instructor is not a certified yoga teacher, but a yoga enthusiast, and that you will need to dress comfortably for this session. Namaste!

Making College Easier with Technology: Tired of lugging around spiral notebooks and binders? With all of the technology available to us (for free!), surely we can use it to make studying easier, right? Right! In this workshop, we will discuss techniques for using tech-based study tools to the max. We will also talk about the benefits and how-tos of transferring your notes online with Evernote, as well as discussing tech-based study strategies such as using Quizlet, Study Blue, and more.

Public Speaking: Do you have trouble writing speeches? Don't have the best memory? Suffer from stage fright? We can help! In this public speaking workshop, we will discuss the basics of writing different types of speeches from informative to persuasive and beyond. We will also discuss various speech memorization techniques as well as ways to combat stage fright and effectively deliver a speech for any audience.

Test Prep and Memorization:
Exams are a necessary evil for college students, and with the end of the semester rapidly approaching the time to start studying is now! In this workshop, students will learn effective methods for prepping for various types of tests. We will also discuss numerous strategies for enhancing your memorization skills and retaining large amounts of information. Get ready to buckle down!
