Call for Papers

———————————

Frontiers

The latest Limestone features authors’ and artists’ representations of ruckus and rebellion. For our next issue, Limestone Winter 2006, we seek original poetry, fiction, and black and white visual art expressing representations of frontiers.  This issue will explore boundaries, borders, and the mythology of the road. We hope for a wide range of representations and visions of “frontiers” within this call.

Limestone: A Journal of Art and Literature

Limestone showcases original and imaginative writing by residents of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky and writers from across the nation. We are a venue for sharing literary works and ideas and for promoting new and innovative creative writing and visual art. Limestone 2003 featured Irish poets including Seamus Heaney and Eaven Boland. Limestone 2004 featured Kentucky artists including Ed McClanahan, James Baker Hall, and Kentucky poet laureate Joe Survant. Limestone 2005 was a theme issue feature artists’ representations of silences.
