Graduate Student Travel Awards

Three graduate students will receive $200 for travel expenses from the BWWA. Please email an abstract of your paper, any information about your previous association with the BWWC (if any), and the distance you will need to travel to attend the conference to Pamela Corpron Parker at pamelaparker@whitworth.edu by March 1, 2007.

We would also appreciate any donations BWWC participants would like to make to help create more graduate student travel awards.

Nineteenth-Century Gender Studies

Nineteenth-Century Gender Studies, an online, peer-reviewed journal that publishes innovative scholarship on gender studies and 19th-century British literature, art and culture, is planning a special Summer 2007 issue devoted to the British Women Writers Conference. If you have been accepted to present at the conference and would like your paper considered for inclusion in the issue, please submit a copy of it via email to both Stacey Floyd (sefloy2@uky.edu) and Melissa Purdue (mpurd2@uky.edu) by April 19th.
