The Office of International Affairs and the Center for English as a Second Language at the University of Kentucky are pleased to announce a semi-intensive ESL program at the University of Kentucky on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

What:	Two 6-week semi-intensive ESL programs for UK employees, spouses of
	UK graduate students, researchers and post docs. People from the
	community are also welcome.

When:	Session I:
	Placement Testing:	Tuesday, September 1, 2009
	Classes:	Tuesday, September 8 - October 13, 2009
	Session II:
	Placement Testing:	Tuesday, October 22, 2009
	Classes:	October 27 - December 8, 2009

All Classes and Testing are on Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Where:

CB 242 & CB 246 (WhiteHall Classroom Building)

Cost:	$155 per 6-week session
	$77 scholarship per 6-week session may be available if you are the spouse of
	a University of Kentucky international student (first 20 students only)

This program is intended to improve the general language skills of non-native speakers of English and will focus on listening, speaking, reading, and grammar. Participants will be required to purchase a book/books.
