The Office of International Affairs and the Center for English as a Second Language at the University of Kentucky are pleased to announce a semi-intensive ESL program at the University of Kentucky on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

What:	Two 4-week semi-intensive ESL programs for UK employees, spouses of
	UK graduate students, researchers and post docs. People from the
	community are also welcome.

When:	Session I:
	Placement Testing:	Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009
		CB 343
	Classes:	June 4th - June 30th, 2009
	Session II:
	Placement Testing:	Monday, July 6th, 2009
		CB 343
	Classes:	July 7th - July 30th, 2009

All Classes and Testing are on Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Where:

White Hall Classroom Building CB 343, CB 347

Cost:	$100 per 4-week session
	$50 scholarship per 4-week session may be available if you are the spouse of
	a University of Kentucky international student (first 20 students only)

This program is intended to improve the general language skills of non-native speakers of English and will focus on listening, speaking, reading, and grammar. Participants will be required to purchase a book/books.
