Limestone |

Limestone showcases original and imaginative writing and art by residents of the Bluegrass region of Kentucky and from across the nation. Graduate students in the Department of English at the University of Kentucky publish Limestone annually. The journal is a member of the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses. Issues are indexed in the Index of American Periodical Verse.

Nineteenth-Century Gender Studies is a peer-reviewed, online
journal
committed to publishing insightful and innovative scholarship on gender
studies and nineteenth-century British literature, art and culture. The
journal is a collaborative effort that brings together advanced graduate
students and scholars from a variety of universities to create a unique
voice in the field. We endorse a broad definition of gender studies and
welcome submissions that consider gender and sexuality in conjunction with
race, class, place and nationality. Nineteenth-Century Gender
Studies
is
published twice a year and accepts submissions year-round. |

For over 30 years wind has earned respect for its longevity, integrity, and service. Founded by Quentin Howard in the mountains of Pikeville, Kentucky in 1971, for over 80 issues wind has affirmed writers and communities. Published 3 times each year, wind is a literary journal of 100+ pages containing an eclectic mix of poetry, fiction, essays, interviews, and reviews of small press publications.
