Digital Resources
The Writing Center can also assist you with digital projects!
Our Writing Center computers are
equipped with the following software: Word 2007, WordPerfect 11, Publisher,
Power Point, Excel, Movie Maker, Roxio (cd/dvd burning), CamStudio (screen
recording), Jing (screen recording), Audacity (sound recording and editing),
Gimp (image editing), Sophie and Sophie Reader (create and read digital books),
PageBreeze (web site), filezilla (ftp program).
UK also provides basic web site info
and web space for students at http://www.uky.edu/Education/builder.html and http://www.uky.edu/Providers/
We also have multiple FLIP Digital
cameras, multiple tripods and an external hard drive that can be dedicated to
class projects.
Plagiarism
happens in digital projects too!
