Course Proposals

Each veteran Writing Program instructor may propose a course that uses compiled readings or textbooks not previously approved by the Writing Program. To ensure that these courses aim to accomplish University expectations for ENG 101, 102, or 105, instructors must submit a proposal for review by the Director and Assistant Director of the Program. These proposals should include the subject(s) of the course, the specific readings, and the major and minor writing assignments (see form below). Proposals are generally due towards the end of the Fall and Spring terms for implementation in the subsequent semester. Announcements will be made about exact deadlines. Proposals should include the items listed below and be submitted to the Writing Program Staff Assistant.
