Jidan Duan is a second year MA student. She got her undergraduate degree in geography from Beijing Normal University. She is interested in hydrology and geomorphology. Her master thesis focus on the knickpoints in the Big South Fork river, Southwestern Kentucky. It investigates the features of knickpionts and determine the processes associated with their formation and their implication with respect to fluvial channel network development.
