Tim is a first year PhD student from Central New York. He received a BA in political science and a BA in Sociology from Hartwick College in 2003, and my MA in Geography from the University at Albany, SUNY in 2007, and is currently trying to complete his thesis requirement for a MA in Sociology. Tim is interested in cultural and political geographies, landscapes, space and place, and social theory. His MA thesis was on Landscapes of Defense and Private Security Firms.
