Profile

I'm now a UK hybrid; despite coming in as one of the department's first physical geography graduate students, I'm now exploring other aspects of geography.  The program has allowed me to combine my training in geomorphology with my love of history and philosophy of science.  My dissertation project examines the history and use of life cycle, systems, and complexity metaphors in 20th century geomorphological research, focusing on how these metaphors have constructed and constrained research during this time.
