UK Department of Geological Sciences The inaugural Department of Geological Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award was a great success. Dr. William Thomas was presented this year’s award, a lovely coffee table book of geologic photos, at the annual meeting of the Geological Society of America. Many of Dr. Thomas’ current and former students made the trip from all across the country to help celebrate Dr. Thomas’ most recent honor. |
