Ph.D. Candidate, 2006-2007 NSF Algebra Cubed Fellow
M.S. Mathematics, 2004, Murray State University
B.S. Geology/Mathematics, 2000, Murray State University

Ken joined the group in 2006 to pursue research for his doctorate.  He is developing a 3-D numerical ground-motion model of the upper Mississippi embayment.  The model employs a discontinuous grid finite-difference method with locally variable timesteps for efficiency.  Ken is also interested in undergraduate and high school pedagogy.
