The department's assistant secretary is Mr. George T. White Jr. George has lived in Lexington his entire life, graduating from Transylvania University in 2001 with a major in Spanish, a minor in Computer Science, and, he reports, many questions about life. George does an array of essential tasks for the department, including updating our website. Life would be considerably more difficult in his absence. For the moment, he hopes to become more comfortable with his job, improve his Spanish, get in shape, and basically find out for what he was created. Perhaps it is serendipity that he has found a job in a philosophy department! If you ever have the opportunity to call or visit the department, George is another person with whom you can look forward to having a most pleasurable interaction.
