This paper addresses how the impacts of globalization are different for men and women in developing areas (or “third world countries”)

 2007.  Susilastuti, Dewi (to be submitted for consideration for summer 2007 publication of Journal of Critical Planning).  “Women and Children Last: aid distribution in the aftermath of the Indonesian tsunami”. This paper focuses on how gender relations in Aceh, Indonesia affect social and spatial justice in tsunami devastated areas.
