2020 Scholars
The 2020 Scholars program is a broad-based scholarships initiative designed to increase access to higher education among Kentuckians while pushing more students to take rigorous math and science courses in their junior and senior year of high school.
The 2020 Scholars; program focuses on four major areas:
- Increasing transfers from community and technical colleges.
- Increasing the number of Kentuckians attending UK who are receiving need-based aid.
- Increasing scholarship offerings to students who demonstrate academic excellence.
- Encouraging more Kentucky students to take math and science courses throughout high school.
