What's Next?

As a new student in our department, your next four steps are easy.

1. Link Blue Account
If you have not already set-up your link blue account and free University e-mail address, this is your first step. You can learn more about your Link Blue Account and activate it at:
2. Get an Advisor
Before coming to our department, you may have already had an advising session with one of our advisors, either through the College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment (CAFE) or through the University. If you don't know who your advisor is, check with
2. Meet with Your Advisor (or get an Advisor)
If you haven't already met with your advisor, make an appointment to meet them and to talk about your college plans and career goals. Have you already registered for classes? If not, check out our advising and registration page.
3. Start Classes
Go to class. Prepare for class. Raise your hand. Particpate. Challenge. Learn.
4. Get Involved
