FSA Borrower Training Workshop

The FSA Borrower Training Workshop can help you to:
- Identify priorities: how to set goals for yourself, your family and the farm
- Manage your finances: find ways to farm more profitably
- Keep good records: how to keep and use records for your farm and your family
- Seek out resources: where to go for help when you need it
- Think things through: how to make good decisions using what you've learned
The FSA Borrower Training Workshop will be taught by the Cooperative Extension Service of the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University and is designed to satisfy the FSA borrower training program requirements.
Workshop information
This farm management workshop will help you learn how to juggle the components of a modern farming operation: business planning, inancial management, and production practices.
This training is open to all farmers but is specifically designed to meet the FSA requirements for the Borrower Training Program which became law in 1994.
Requirements
Borrowers have two years from the time of new loans to complete the training. FSA borrowers will need to attend and participate in all workshops to keep their FSA loans.
Cost
The workshop costs $400 and involves 20 contact hours.
