- Congratulations
- Congratulations to Lucia Ona, who recently successfully defended her dissertation entitled, "Economic Impact of Hospital Closure on Rural Communities in Three Southern States (Georgia, Tennessee and Texas): A Quasi-Experimental Approach."
- 2007 Annual Departmental Holiday Luncheon
- The Annual Departmental Holiday Luncheon will be held Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Lexington -- Campbell House.
- Sanderson Will Serve in Peace Corps
- Tyler Sanderson, who will graduate from AEC in December, has been accepted into the Peace Corps. He will be working in the agribusiness program in Eastern Europe. His actual country assignment has not yet been determined. Tyler is from Cincinnati, but parents now live in Lisbon, IA. He will be working part-time for Dr. Infanger while waiting for departure.
- Welcome Ani Katchova
- Ani Katchova has accepted our offer to become part of our faculty in the Industrial Organization T/R position. She is aiming at beginning with us this summer. We are indeed fortunate to have hired her.
- New Administrative Coordinator
- After interviewing four strong candidates to move into Charlotte Moss's position after her retirement, our own Chuck Corby was hired to fill the job! Chuck's first job will be to hire a replacement for his old job. Chuck will begin slowly transitioning to the new position (mostly training at first), but will be working some on both jobs until we are able to hire his replacement. Congratulations Chuck!!
