Event: 39th Annual Sheeprofit Day

The 39th Annual University of Kentucky Sheeprofit Day will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at UK’s Animal Research Center (ARC) in Versailles, KY. Sponsored by the College of Agriculture’s Department of Animal and Food Sciences, this annual event will provide information about ongoing sheep research and allow those attending to participate in an educational program that may help to increase productivity of their flock.

This free event is open to current shepherds and those who think they may one day have their own animals. The department welcomes the opportunity to work with all interested to help meet their sheep production needs.

For more information, contact Dr. Don Ely at 859-257-2727, Dr. Debra Aaron at 859-257-7553, or via email to rnott2@uky.edu.
