- Currently, oral ABT 395 research presentations are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday December 8, 2009 and Thursday, December 10, 2009 (during dead-week) in the ground floor auditorium (Cameron Williams Lecture Hall) of the Plant Science Building.
- PowerPoint presentations should be 10-12 minutes in length. A 2-3 minute question and answer session with the audience will follow each presentation.
- The Glenn B. Collins Undergraduate Research Achievement Award in Agricultural Biotechnology will be awarded to the top presentation of each Fall 2009 ABT 395 seminar session. Attending ABT Coordinating Committee members will judge the presentations. Judges will confer after the last presentation of each session and the winners announced after the ABT Program reception (see below) on Thursday, December 10, 2009.
- The ABT Program will host a reception after the December 10th session in the atrium of the Plant Science Building (outside of the Cameron Williams Lecture Hall) to honor the student presenters and their mentors. The Glenn B. Collins Undergraduate Research Achievement Awards will be presented by Dr. Daniel Howe (ABT Coordinating Committee Chair) during this reception.
