Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate Program:
B.S. in Career and Technical Education - Agricultural Education Option

The undergradaute program in Agricultural Education is linked with the Family and Consumer Sciences Education (FCS Ed) program. Both programs comprise Career and Technical Education in the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky. Students in both Ag Ed and FCS Ed share courses in teacher preparation but have separate field work (Early Field Experience and Student Teaching). Undergraduate Course Requirements

Starting fall 2006 semester, students will be utilizing the "new" curriculum as approved by the University Senate. Click here to see the coursework requirements for this degree [document dated June 27, 2007].

Teacher Education Program

Upperclassmen (60 hours completed) in Agricultural Education MUST apply for admission in to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) housed in the College of Education. For more information about the TEP application process, click here. For the TEP application, click here.

Agricultural Education Society (Ag Ed Society or AES)

The Agricultural Education Society is the Agricultural Education program's official student organization. AES has a long tradition at UK. Click here for more information.
