Danielle Clore is the founding director of the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative.  She and the Initiative joined the department in 2004.  Danielle holds a B.A. in psychology from Transylvania University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky Martin School of Public Policy and Administration.  Prior to joining the University in 2002, Danielle held a number of fundraising and leadership positions in nonprofit organizations.

Through her role as director of the Initiative, Danielle provides workshops and consulting services in the areas of governing board development, strategic planning and fundraising.  Danielle also teaches a special topics course in nonprofit management and leadership in the department’s new master’s program.

Danielle serves on a number of nonprofit boards, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass.  Past board service has included Family Counseling Service, the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival, the United Way of the Bluegrass Get on Board Advisory Council and the Kentucky Commission on Women Foundation.
