Martha Nall holds a B.S. degree from the University of KY, Vocational Home Economics Education, a M. S. degree from Purdue University in Home Management and Family Economics and an Ed.D. degree in Adult and Community College Education from North Carolina State University.  Dr. Nall came to the University of KY as an Extension Program Specialist on the Home Economics staff in 1974.  In 1990 she joined the Program and Staff Development unit as an Extension Professor and in 2002 became a member of the Community and Leadership Development Department in the College of Agriculture.

 

As an Extension Professor, Dr. Nall gives leadership to program development, evaluation, employee orientation and training and the mentor program.   She works with leadership development programs throughout Kentucky and conducts leadership training seminars and workshops for lay leaders and professionals.  A long-term member of the Diversity Committee for KY Cooperative Extension, she is responsible for conducting county program reviews throughout the state and has developed diversity training programs for employees.

 

As a member of the Community and Leadership Development Department, she teaches an undergraduate course on the Cooperative Extension Service and conducts research in the area of youth leadership.
