Kristina Ricketts started as an Assistant Extension Professor of Leadership Development on January 7, 2008.  She was previously an Assistant Professor of Leadership at The Pennsylvania State University. Currently, her appointment is 75% Extension and 25% teaching. She earned a B.S. in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications from the University of Nebraska, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Leadership and Extension from the University of Florida.

As an Extension Professor, Dr. Ricketts is looking to develop and present effective leadership programming across the state, both to Extension personnel and community leaders alike.  Through exciting and interesting leadership training seminars and workshops, Dr. Ricketts will work to effectively improve our community leadership and influence around Kentucky and beyond.  In addition, Dr. Ricketts will be responsible for assisting with the departmental leadership major, by teaching several courses, beginning in Fall 2008 with CLD 502: Leadership Ethics, Power & Impact.
