As a research assistant for Kenneth Jones, Chris supports the administration of the USDA's Engaging Youth Serving Communities grant and the evaluation of other extension programs.  He is PhD student in the Department of Sociology where he studies the postsecondary aspirations and attainment of rural students and the school experiences of rural sexual minority youth.  

Chris has worked as a high school mathematics teacher in the Boston (MA) Public Schools and as a game theory instructor at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.  He holds a BS in mathematics from Bradley University, an EdM in Education Policy from Harvard University, and teaching credentials in several states.
