Spotted Cucumber Beetle

There are two kinds of Cucumber beetles, the striped and the spotted. They are both about a quarter inch long and both are black and yellow. The Spotted cucumber beetle has 12 black dots. They spend the winter as adults and emerge in the spring to feed and mate; eggs are deposited in the soil. Larvae from those eggs also feed on the plant and will emerge as a second wave of adults in the late summer. Adults are the more damaging stage; they feed on leaves and flowers.

To play, drag and drop a puzzle piece to position it. The pieces will click together if they match and are close enough to align.
