The National Food Safety Database

The National Food Safety Database (NFSD) has been produced to educate food handlers about ways to prevent foodborne illness. This Database contains comprehensive food safety information authored by numerous academic, government and private organizations, and designed to be applicable across the United States. Resources were designed to be used by educators, state and federal public health agencies, consumers, and food service and food processing industries. The University of Florida in cooperation with the USDA.
