Our Mission

Our mission is to advance sustainable vegetable production for all farmers in Kentucky through systems based research  and outreach projects grounded in the principals of sustainability.  Our long term goal is to improve environmental stewardship while enhancing the profitability of farms and promoting relationships between farmers and consumers in their respective communities.  This web space is designed to present production information useful to vegetable farmers in Kentucky as well as highlight some of our ongoing research and extension projects
