Professor of Extension Floriculture - I am involved with continuing education programs on greenhouses and greenhouse crops, both flowers and vegetables. I work with greenhouse operators, county Extension agents, garden center operators, vocational horticulture instructors and the general public. As part of our "Horticultural Opportunities" program, I work with many Kentuckians considering greenhouse crops as another source of farm income.

To augment my Extension activities, I have an active program in applied research on greenhouse crops and greenhouse systems. I am involved with bedding plant variety trials in a state-wide program, irrigation systems for bedding plants and greenhouse vegetables for tobacco greenhouses. I also work on greenhouse cut flowers.
