I am a Water Quality/Environmental Toxicology Professor.

Current Projects:

  • Dissipation of Agricultural Chemicals Under Field Conditions and Fate of Chemicals in Artificial Wetlands. USDA/ARS.
  • Developing Programs for Operation and Management of On-site Constructed Wetlands. EPA/319-NPS program.
  • Impact of Colored Mulches on Concentration of Glucosinolates (GSLs), Sugars, and Ascorbic acid in Turnip Roots as well as Carotenoids, Chlorophyll, and Elemental composition in Carrot. USDA/ARS Coastal Plains Research Center, Florence, SC.
  • Capacity Building Grant Fund for the project entitled "Botanical Insecticide: Impact on Environmental Quality".
  • Dislodgeable Foliar Residues of Organophosphorus Insecticides. This project is funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Department of Health and Human Service, Cincinnati, OH.
  • USDA/ARS, Coastal Plains Research Center, Florence, South Carolina on a research project "Impact of different colored mulches on the nutritional composition of carrot roots, Daccus carota".
