PLS 520 FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTION
A study of the essential features of commercial production
and postharvest storage of the major vegetable, tree fruit, and berry crops,
including general production principles, and crop-specific production, harvest,
and postharvest storage practices.





PLS 623 PHYSIOLOGY OF PLANTS II
A set of lectures on plant hormones with a focus on
concepts of mode of action, auxins, and abscisic acid.




PLS 697 POSTHARVEST BIOLOGY AND TECHNOLOGY
A study of postharvest plant physiology/biochemistry, storage and handling
practices and how they impact postharvest biology, and common laboratory
techniques for assessing produce quality, and a review and discussion
of current literature on selected postharvest topics.
