Internship

Students are required to work a minimum of 10 weeks full-time or 400 hours part-time in a horticultural profession. Students are encouraged to complete more than one internship. To receive credit for an internship, the student completes a learning contract and enrolls in PLS 399 Experiential Learning.

Specialty Support Requirements: (24 credit hours)

It is recommended that students fulfill an Agricultural Economics, Business or Pest Management minor. Students in Landscape Management may complete Landscape Architecture (LA) courses plus courses in Agricultural Economics. See LA courses and minor requirements below.
