Horticultural Science Option

Internship

Students are required to work a minimum of 10 weeks full- time or 400 hours part-time in a horticultural profession. Students are encouraged to complete more than one internship. To receive credit for an internship, the student completes a learning contract and enrolls in PLS 399 Experiential Learning.

PHY 213 General Physics II (5)

Additional courses from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biology or related science for a total of 24 credit hours based on the student's interests and with advisor's approval.

Minor in Biological Sciences (minimum of 21 hours)

BIO 150 Principles of Biology I (3)
BIO 151 Principles of Biology I Lab (2)
BIO 152 Principles of Biology II (3)
BIO 153 Principles of Biology II Lab (2)

Two courses from following list:
