Types of fruit collection

Leaning objective: To demonstrate the diversity of fruits found in trees.

Background information: Seeds are developed inside the fruit (or cone) in tree species. The fruit types covered in this website include:

Procedure:

1. Make a fruit type collection by trying to collect a fruit in each category.

2. Dissect the fruit to find the actual seed.

3. Draw a picture of your fruit and compare it to the image available in the website.
