The
Official State Tree for Kentucky is the Tulip poplar (
Liriodendron tulipifera).
However, in the 1976 it was changed to the Kentucky coffee tree (
Gymnocladus
dioicus), then in 1994 it was changed back to the tulip poplar. Which tree
should be our state tree? This is an unofficial poll to see what you
think. We have added a couple of other interesting choices.
Before you vote,
you can get background information on the choices by clicking on the image
of that tree.
To vote, select your favorite and click 'Vote'.
After you vote, the current poll results will be listed below each tree name.
