Fruit and Vegetable Crops

I was hired as the fruit and vegetable Extension specialist with responsibility for the western part of the state. I am located at the Research and Education Center at Princeton. My Extension responsibilities include production and management outreach to both fruit and vegetable growers. My research responsibilities include NC-140, a regional project for the evaluation of pome and stone fruits rootstocks. I am also interested in conducting research dealing with weed management in orchard floors and in vegetable production. Finally, I am involved in vegetable demonstration and production alternatives directed to tobacco growers wishing to diversify their operations.
