Funding

Funding for the program is provided by Kentucky Agricultural Development Board, participant tuition fees and contributions from agribusinesses, farm organizations, program alumni, and others supporting the program. Cash expenses for a class are approximately $300,000 or $15,000 per participant, with an additional $10,000 to $15,000 of in-kind expenses per participant. To help offset the costs of the program, each participant for Class IX will be required to pay $2000 in two $1000 installments.
