Landscape Architecture studios

Landscape architecture students have 24 hour access to the studios in the E. S. Good Barn. The College of Agriculture converted the 9,000 square foot loft into studio space in 1992. The barn is a cruciform plan and each axis is 165 feet long. A large presentation room occupies the intersection of the axes. Four large studios occupy the wings: one on each end of the cross axis, and two on the long axis. Two of the studios are open to the rafters, and two have lofts which add additional work areas and provide ceilings for seminar spaces below.

The barn is a creative place that facilitates our students' hard work and their interaction with each other and the faculty. If you visit, expect it to look like controlled chaos, because design work can be a messy business.
