| In this project, students were asked to design a sequence of three
spaces that became the essence of the spatial meaning of words we use to
describe space (i.e, dynamic, directional, oppressive, rhythmic, etc.).
The objectives of this project were to: explore the relationship between
verbal description of space and the physical and visual actuality of space;
give emotional content to space without resorting to iconography; to explore
ideation and idea selection methods; and to gain model building skills.
