Summary

The information contained within this website serves to prove the design and development of the Town Branch Greenway is not only possible, but highly supported by the general public.  While not a formal master plan, the recommendations contained here create a vision for the form and function of the greenway that can generate further support (both political and financial). The Friends of the Park, Inc. is continuing to solicit input and feedback from individuals, neighborhoods, landowners, and government organizations.  It is hoped that the planning process continue to be an open and dynamic one which creates a catalyst for the creation of a region-wide green infrastructure of inter-connected trails and greenspace.  The Town Branch Greenway can become the beginning of a world-class park system that will allow Central Kentuckians to better enjoy and preserve the Bluegrass country that draws people to it in the first place.
