Boron deficiency is uncommon but can occur where soil pH tends to run high like areas alone the
Ohio river which flood periodically.  Boron deficiency may also occur under environments like the float 
system where boron may be easily depleted.  Symptoms usually include bud loss or degeneration and
a pale color to the upper most leaves which may be very small in size.
