Member Discussion
If your state is a member of the Horticultural
Inspection Society - Southern Chapter (HIS-SC), we would like to invite you to join our Members Discussion Page. This would currently be available to anyone (no membership fee**) that meet the qualifications stated in Article IV of our
constitution. This would be a restricted site and only members would have access allowing them to be able to discuss things more freely than they might otherwise. The webmaster must approve (to be sure you qualify) those that wish to join the HIS-SC Members Discussion. If you are outside the southern chapter member states (i.e. western, eastern or central chapter member states) and want to be a member of our Member Discussion Group you will need join the HIS-SC's organization (membership fee required**) to gain access. This Member Discussion site is powered by Yahoo! Groups.
What's a Yahoo! Group? It's where we, as members of HISSC, have the opportunity to share inspection information, get to know each other, and stay informed of what is happening in each others state. You would have instant access to:shared message archives, you can place photos and photo albums of problems that you may face, place upcoming events on the event calendar, have Member polls and shared links. And best of all, it's free.
**The HIS-SC would like to encourage you to join our organization chapter. Dues are just $15 a year and an excellent way to get to know your fellow inspectors in other states and gain more insight by attending our Annual Meeting and In-Service Training held in September.
