RESOLUTION NUMBER 14
Host State Appreciation
WHEREAS, the Horticultural Inspection Society, Southern Chapter Annual Meeting was graciously hosted by the member state of Louisiana in the City of Baton Rouge; and,
WHEREAS, the host state, the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, has planned a successful meeting by arranging convenient meeting and lodging facilities, excellent food, and an informational and enjoyable field tour. Effective planning has ensured that the meeting has been a rewarding, educational, cultural, and social experience.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that: By the membership of the Horticultural Inspection Society, Southern Chapter, at it’s Annual Meeting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on September 14, 2004, we thank Allen T. Whittington, III and his committee for their outstanding work in the preparation and implementation of this meeting.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that: the Horticultural Inspection Society, Southern Chapter extends sincere thanks to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, as well as the meeting’s sponsors for their support of the 2004 meeting.
