SOUTHERN CHAPTER
RESOLUTION NUMBER 18
WHEREAS, the Horticultural Inspection Society, Southern Chapter Annual Meeting was graciously hosted by the member state of Mississippi in the City of Greenville; and,
WHEREAS, the host state, the Mississippi Department of Agriculture, has planned a successful meeting by arranging convenient meeting and lodging facilities, excellent food, and an informational and enjoyable field tours. Effective planning has ensured that the meeting has been a rewarding, educational, cultural, and social experience.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the membership of the Horticultural Inspection Society, Southern Chapter, at its Annual Meeting in Greenville, Mississippi, on September 19, 2007, we thank Guy Buford and his committee for their outstanding work in the preparation and implementation of this meeting.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Horticultural Inspection Society, Southern Chapter extends sincere thanks to the Mississippi Department of Agriculture, as well as the meeting’s sponsors for their support of the 2007 meeting.
