Evan Sears, University of Kentucky turf student, received the Dr. James Watson scholarship at the 2012 Sports Turf Managers Association conference in Long Beach, California in January. Tom Nielsen, Louisville Bats Baseball Sports Field Manager, was honored with the George Toma Golden Rake Award. Congratulations to our fellow Kentuckians and Sports Turf Managers.
