Goosegrass : Kentucky IPM
Goosegrass (Eleucine indica)
| Goosegrass is a warm-season annual weed that can be identified by its flat stems and seedheads. The seedheads radiate like the spokes of a wheel.
In addition to occurring in corn and soybean fields, goosegrass may also be found in turf, pastures,
gardens or along roadsides. | |
 | Note the pubescence on the top portion of the sheath, near the
base of the blade, and on the margins of the leaf near the collar. The ligule of goosegrass is an uneven membrane. |
